Kent, Muskegon, and Ottawa Counties
Patrick is running for State Representative to represent the people of District 89. This includes a large majority of the areas north and south of Coopersville (inclusive), extending south to Blendon Township, and as far north as Egelston, Moorland, Casnovia and Tyrone.
District lines may define voter boundaries, but Patrick will always represent the people of Michigan as a whole. And we call upon all Michiganders to be our voice in Lansing, and your support is crucial, no matter where you live.

A Proven Leader Rooted in Faith and Service
Patrick Kapenga is a lifelong West Michigander, devoted husband and father, and principled conservative running for State Representative in Michigan's 89th District. Raised on a farm, he learned the value of hard work early—launching his first business as a teenager and building a career creating jobs, investing in housing, and mentoring others.
Guided by faith, family, and service, Patrick committed his life to helping others—becoming a foster parent with his wife, Cherith, serving more than a decade with Bethany Christian Services, and ministering to people in crisis. Not a career politician, Patrick will bring a common-sense, faith-driven approach to Lansing—cutting red tape, expanding opportunity, and protecting the values that make West Michigan strong.
